About gDonna
The photo is my son and myself. Now days you can get a photo made to look old like this one. This photo was taken when this was the new look.

Harry S Truman was president when I was born and world war II had ended. I grew up in a time when lunch was put in a brown paper bag and a sandwich was wrapped with wax paper. There was no such thing as pantyhose, we wore stockings that attached to the rubbery clippy things that attached to the girdle. Convenience stores were not common and when we took a trip we packed a picnic basket because many places did not have fast food. Highways had places to pull over and stop, some with picnic tables. Donna,
I must say that “Crossing the Line” might have been the most motivating and sensitive blog you’ve written! I was so moved by it and it was a blessing from the Lord to me ! I even shared it with my husband and he really enjoyed it to! You seem to know how others are feeling during this time in our lives. I thank you and continue your good works ,my friend!

Donna I have to say your videos are just so inspiring & calming to watch. Your blog is just as wonderful. We are living in a time when home is needed as a welcoming respite.

Hey Donna, Seems like I have read and reread every article that you have posted thru the years. So today when I again read this Looking Back to Learn, I felt like the previous lady Susan Kaye. I have been struggling with a few burdens the past few days. Now every morning I do read my Bible and have my time to pray, however I was still stewing about some situations. So don't laugh when I tell you that I have gone out in the yard and drawn myself that line and walked over it! Also, this has led me to rethink some solutions and to also remember that God does see and help us each day! Blessings, to all Carolyn in Florida
