About gDonna
The photo is my son and myself. Now days you can get a photo made to look old like this one. This photo was taken when this was the new look.

Harry S Truman was president when I was born and world war II had ended. I grew up in a time when lunch was put in a brown paper bag and a sandwich was wrapped with wax paper. There was no such thing as pantyhose, we wore stockings that attached to the rubbery clippy things that attached to the girdle. I really like your pantry! It may be small, but it is so very well organized, like a mini store. I like how your shelves are perfectly spaced so that they are only as tall as what is being stored on them.

I, too, believe that people should be prepared to take care of their families, especially in times of bad weather or disasters. I have often thought of how many billions of dollars the government would save and how much less stressful it would be for those affected by a disaster if everyone had a two-week supply of provisions. It would probably save lives, too, because people will go out during or after a disaster to try and get supplies, and they might get hurt or killed in the process.
