About gDonna
The photo is my son and myself. Now days you can get a photo made to look old like this one. This photo was taken when this was the new look.

Harry S Truman was president when I was born and world war II had ended. I grew up in a time when lunch was put in a brown paper bag and a sandwich was wrapped with wax paper. I have new neighbors and the husband is a son of the south. He recently had a birthday; because of the myriad amounts of birthday cake and ice cream, I opted to make him a batch of biscuits. He was absolutely overjoyed, saying he had not had any in quite awhile since he left home. I was pleased that he liked them. This summer, I will treat them to this Peach Cobbler; knowing it is an authentic southern recipe.
